Cheryl Black, COO
The Quick Scoop:
Cheryl has been an entrepreneur for many years and is passionate about creating new experiences. She has a background in technology as well as in marketing and loves things that challenge her from both a left brain and right brain perspective. After a few years as a professional ballet dancer, she became enamored with computer programming and enjoyed being able to type a series of instructions and have a machine react in a predictable manner. Like choreography! She eventually began to apply technology to marketing, where she embraced the principal of fair exchange - helping brands reach their business objectives by understanding and meeting the needs of their consumers.
Why Delamina?
Because most jewelry sales come from women buying for themselves, but you’d never know it from the shopping experience. Cheryl believes strongly that it is time for a change in the way jewelry is marketed. She created Delamina to be a place where women can shop for jewelry in a respectful, relaxed environment. Where they can buy beautiful pieces for themselves. Where they will never feel intimidated or ignorant. Where jewelry comes with a story, not just a science lesson. Where the experience is about finding your own style, not blindly following fashion.
