Classy in Cuffs

crysobel-cuffAn exquisitely crafted cuff bracelet can be a distinct statement jewelry piece. And it has recently become a trend, found resting on the wrist of so many people. You can’t help but notice that Hillary Duff, Carrie Underwood and Nicole Richie have all been photographed, wearing their personal take on the trend – animal print cuffs, cuffs sparkling with diamonds, or thin gold cuffs.

The best thing about this jewelry trend is that you can’t go wrong with the design, style or the amount of cuffs that you wear. With the cuff trend, more is actually more. You can wear a cuff on each wrist, pair a cuff with some thinner bangles or add a statement cocktail ring to your finger. (At last - big, bold and chunky is the new trend!)

Cuffs cut out in intricate woven or floral designs are a flirty and feminine way to dress up your outfits. I recently found a sterling silver floral cuff at (a vintage fashion expo) with carefully carved daisies that twine around the bracelet and spill out over the edge like a fresh, yet vintage, bouquet.

Geometric cuffs shaped like squares are also hot this season, along with cuffs in twisted rope designs.

Take your three quarter sleeved tunic to a new level with two cuffs stacked on one wrist. Or add more attention to that satin one shoulder dress by wearing a distinctly crafted cuff on the opposite wrist.

Whatever you wear, it’s time for your wrists to take center stage.
