Andie MacDowell and Rainey Qualley
My idea of great chick flicks are “Groundhog Day”, “Three Weddings and a Funeral”, and “Green Card”, all of which star Andie MacDowell (known to her family as Rosalie Anderson MacDowell).
These films are easy to watch in your pajamas: high on relationship and low on drama… a great break from life.
This talented actress leads a dual life. For five months out of the year, Andie is the L’Oreal spokesmodel turned actress and the rest of the year, “Rosie” lives on a farm near Asheville, North Carolina, where she is involved in her church and community. That is, when she is not spending time with her dad, her siblings, and her kids: Justin, Rainey and Sarah Margaret. MacDowell’s mother died when she was 23 so she must consider her relationship with her daughters even more precious.
In her public life, MacDowell has continued to keep her children’s lives fiercely private, only recently bringing Rainey and Sarah Margaret to the limelight. Now that Rainey is eighteen, she is making more appearances with her mom. Rainey is frequently seen with her mother at L’Oreal events and earlier this year, she and her sister hit the runway with their mom at one of her charity events. Rainey seems to be settling quite comfortably into the limelight.
So, what will it be Rainey? Actress? Model? Philanthropist? Or all of the above?
