There is absolutely no question that Ivana and Ivanka select their own jewelry. While they certainly gained a head start with the last name, their combination of intelligence, beauty and sound business judgment is what has made them a staying power in the world of all things glamorous.

Ivanka is Ivana’s “middle” child of three with the Donald– a boy on either side. Anyone who studies birth order can see that Ivanka exhibits all of the strong characteristics of the middle child but seems to have passed behind the insecurities often associated with that ranking.

Ivana clearly schooled Ivanka in the principle that business is not to be taken personally. While Ivana rose to great heights within the Trump Organization as Mrs. Donald, she was even more financially successful as just Ivana with her made for television shopping glamour brands of clothing, fashion jewelry and beauty products. She leveraged this success to move into television appearances and authored two best-selling books. In her cameo role in the movie, The First Wives Club her one line zinger pretty well sums up Ivana’s recipe for success: “Remember girls, don’t get mad, get everything.”

While Ivana is notoriously dramatic, Ivanka has gained the media and business worlds’ respect with her level head. With 5′11 height and Trump genes and birthright, she could have easily taken the easy road to stardom. Instead, she has chosen to become highly educated and well respected for her real estate savvy and media presence.

At the age of 28, she has already enjoyed a successful modeling career, become a reality television star, real estate mogul and most recently teamed up with a top diamond trading company to launch online and Madison Avenue jewelry stores called “Ivanka Trump”.

The lesson that Ivanka seems to have learned from her mother’s mistakes is to avoid distraction from the playboys. Ivanka is a woman who will buy her own jewelry line (and yacht, mansion, luxury tower, etc.).
