September 9, 2009: Because Sometimes Good News means Great News
I grew up knowing the wonderful voice and the charming charisma of Diane Sawyer. She is the perfect blend of credibility, femininity and balance. A serious contender in what was a man’s world and a great role model for little girls everywhere.
What should be fantastic news seems to be a tad tainted by the timing. Too little, too late is the common reaction. With TV news on it’s last legs, the ladies are being allowed in to sit at the anchor desk. But Diane Sawyer deserves this role and there are still folks around who remember the importance it holds, or at least held. And at least this good news means we will have great news.
Congratulations Ms. Sawyer, our Delamina woman of the week.
